Painting a landscape means looking at a scene in front of your eyes and seeing it, feeling it and being it. In the beginning it is important to still yourself and let your presence to integrate with your surrounding. Nothing you know and can think of is important now. So you have to let it go. If you see a beach, don’t think beach..don’t think at all.

Look for your natural reaction to a place you are now part of. Paint that.
